The original manufacture date for these chairs is April 10th, 1972 (see photo of stickers and assemblers initials on the fiberglass shell). The original stapled on tags have been removed by the original owner. The chairs have the rarer 4 legs compared to the tradition 5 legs. They also have the upgraded Shepard casters. The chairs are in really good condition with the original fabric, the metal does not have any pitting and no stains, rips, tears or rattles. The hight of the seats can adjust up or down by removing a c clip/ring and twisting the insert. We are only the 2nd owners, these chairs sat in an architects formal dining room from new.
